Hi 4711

Yes, thankyou for your thoughts.

It is some list, and I plan to have many more holidays if this sort in the future! Lost how many birds I have on my tick list now

It is good to share ones experiences of holidays with like minded birders on here.

Thankyou Pinemartin for your kind comments

OH, and I go to Menorca once a year for sailing dinghies, and birding.

This year we went to Menorca as usual (as we have done so since 2005). and we added an extra holiday in November 2011. We went to see the pyranees and all the birdlife there.

Got to complete report for that.

We will be UK reserve hunting shortly once more to do some more birding - and of course the birds in the garden are fabulous too.

Regards
Kathy

I will be writing the report for Northern Spain now, and adding the report to my other Forums in due course.

If anyone is interested in reading it I will give you my details via PM on here.

What a cracking list that is..........
It must have been a fantastic exprience Kathy.

Got to say I am very jealous about the "Wallcreeper" a bird I would love to see.

I have been to Poland with The Travelling Naturalist back in 1994, we had a super week.

Hi Allan

Yes, the Wallcreeper was a great 'tick' but sadly it was too far away for a photograph (so we had a scope for a good view instead) LOL.

Wow, so you have been on a trip with the The Travelling Naturalist too. interesting. love to hear about your adventures

We will be having a meet up from our fellow tripers, this year to go over old ground in the UK in March 2012.

I will write a full report from a holiday prospective, over a twitchers view and thoughts if you know what I mean.

If you feel a PM is more appropriate for a chat, please let me know

Regards
Kathy

Hi Allan

Have you any pictures/reports of your Polish trip at all? Love to see
them.

Put me in a great mood to complete my bird report form Northern Spain to post on my Forums.

I didn't take photos back then Kathy
We got a written report from the leader.
One thing that sticks in my mind is that we saw all but one of the Europian Woodpeckers in Poland.

I did pop down to Dorset for a short "reunion" break a few years back, we stayed on Portland, did a bit of birding, watched lots of trip slides and did a fair amount of nattering
