Default Live mealworms

I am putting out live mealworms for the birds and their young but my problem is I have spent 74.50 since May 1st! I am getting dozens of birds visiting to fill their beaks up with the worms to take back to their nest but apart from not being able to keep spending this much, should I be letting the birds start getting their own food too as at this rate the young will be too fat to fly when they decide to enter the big wide world! The problem is when the dishes are empty the birds sit on the garden fence waiting and make me feel guilty.

Make a coffee and sit down. You need to have a serious talk with yourself!
